July 3 - Lee's Update

We just returned from the hospital and Lee's determination to keep his leg elevated like Dr. Defranzo requested has paid off. Dr. Defranzo said his leg was perfect. They took the tube (blood catcher) out of his stomach and they removed the staples from his leg. He got the good news that he can now take a shower and he gets his chocolate and caffeine back next week. If he continues to be a good boy...hee hee....he will not need the surgery to reform the ab muscle to look like a leg muscle. (Keeping the swelling maintained will form it on its own.) We see the orthopedic surgeon Tuesday for an update on his bones.
